Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (ET)

High-tech, life-sciences, and energy innovation may well hold the key to the nation's economic health and long-term competitiveness. And as a hotbed of American innovation, New England is poised to become a key driver of economic recovery in the U.S.
This full-day conference will celebrate New England innovation and showcase the panorama of transformative efforts underway in the region in such fields as energy, life sciences, robotics, cloud and mobile computing, and transportation—at universities, startups, and large corporations. At the same time, we plan to challenge New England's innovators to step up and take an even larger role in embracing and shaping the future.
Morning plenary sessions will feature top CEOs, university presidents, and world-class innovators who are already thinking far beyond bailouts and catching up—and who are re-imagining their fields and industries as even stronger than they were a year ago. The afternoon will provide attendees the opportunity to drill down in key sectors and hear firsthand from the startups, large companies, and individual innovators shaping the changes that are underway. In the end, we believe the summit will produce a broad agenda for New England's innovation community and will strongly make the point that the region is taking charge of the future, not reacting to the past.
